I have same issues with same mobo and mem.
I have got into the bios by just inserting 1 stick of memory into slot 4, furthest black slot from cpu.
It is then a case of restarting until monitor is powered up then getting into bios and dropping memory to 533hz speed.
You should then be able to use the 2 sticks of mem.

IT IS A PAIN TO GET INTO THE BIOS and requires a lot of patience.

Cheers mate, but i've returned my AMD mobo, ram and CPU just before the intel conroe core 2 duo anouncement [how to turn a bad situ into a good one], now all I have to do is sit on my hands for a couple of months [whats that after 7 months of waiting]. Scotland21- my an9 32x worked for a year, with a twin corsair xms2 6400 (800mhz). yesterday it simple DONT TURN ON! I already try clear cmos, without hd , usbs , and nothing happends, still the same problem. the pc turns on, the monitor dont starts, I even try to restart without the memories and the same thing, no beep, no nothing just the same problem.
