itunes keeps playing my MP3's when i tell winamp to!

i have set winamp and keep setting winamp to play my mp3's and itunes keep stealing the rights! i need itunes for my ipod, but i love the speed of using winamp 2.95... how do i change the settings in itunes to make it my non default player!

Erm, make the default program in folder options winamp for the files in question.

Also, upgrade to Winamp 5.08, that might help with this extension association problem.


I don't use iTunes so I don't know what its interface is like, but I'd imagine there is an option for it to 'check for associated files' or one that lets you pick which files it opens. That should all be accessible within the program itself.

ok thanks, as far as upgrade winamp 2.95 is the best player out there for double clicking on a mp3 - it plays as soon as you click! i use others for play lists and so on..
