It's an F650GS. Before they got confused and made a 650GS with an 800cc engine. This has a single cylinder Rotax. It's a blast to ride. Not insanely fast like the Ducati, but just relaxing.
The knobbly tyres weren't as bad as I was expecting, but I have replaced them with more of a dual purpose tyre. I'm planning a longer trip...

OK, hi! I'm a midlands-based biker who owns a 2000 Honda VFR800fiy - I've had it for just over 6 months now. Very nice bike.

I don't have megabucks to spend on it, but i get what i need, which will include the usual consumables, and i do most of the work myself, given that i work seasonally in a motorbike shop when it's not winter, though i'm not a mechanic.
WAS going to get myself a Sprint ST 1050 this June, but i need a new PC. I guess that'll have to wait until next year.
