Hehe I know, it's a good excuse to visit the relatives Keep us (or just me ) updated on your experiences in the Snalbuns area, always good to have options (and my car has been out of warranty for years anyway...).

    Okay chaps...

Don't know if anyone is bothered, but incase one or two of you are reading this... heres todays update:

Got there at 10am. They lost my booking. after some fumbling in the back they took my keys and I signed my car away....

45minutes go by - service lass comes over ( shes helpful & hot to boot! - but doesn't know the story ) she doesn't know why the car is in to 'search' for a problem I already know about ( nore do I to be fair! ) she was under the impression I was going to pay for them to look at something I already knew about ( yeah, right! ).

She disapeared and must have got part of the story from her manager anyway...

An hour and a half to take of the heatshield and say 'oh yes a giant crack' later.

Yep... there sure is a crack there... etc... anyways, apprently the Exhaust manifold ISN'T covered under the warrenty - which seems rather odd - will check this tomorrow with another garage. They wanted £275 for the repair, which i told them to FO at and thought it was insulting that was their 'good will' gesture when I've been quoted 50 quid less else where.

So they knocked £100 of the price and it's booked in this Saturday....

    Joy!!

Now time to see if the manifold is covered under warrenty, if so I'll rain down fire and brimestone on their stupid garage!
