Best way to sell two old cars quickly?

My other half has a really old Renault Clio, and her dad has a really old Ford Escort Van. Though they're both really old, they still run - the van does need a new alternator, but it works.

We've no need for either car, and we're looking to do away with them, sharpish. They're not worth much, but we're sure they could go for a few hundred each, so we're not inclined to scrap them.

What's the best way to sell them, quickly and easily? Ideally, I'd love to be able to just drive them somewhere and exchange them for a bit of cash!

Note: I've only just bought my first car, have never sold one before!

If they're really old and worthless get back whatever tax is left and ring up someone in the back of your local paper who will take it away for £50.
