Looking at it, I'd hazzard a guess there's not much 306 there. Engine is put in the right way around, wheel track looks very wide etc etc. Might be wrong, but these things usually involve a space frame somewhere.

306 - the worst car I have ever owned.

They look nice, but they're French, they overheat, have trouble turning corners, are flimsy, have awful electrics, little to no feedback through the wheel and so on.

8k for a 14 year old car..... wow.

if you want something unreliable but fun, you can get an mgf for less than half the price

or a tvr chimera for only 50% more ^_^

At least go for a golf GTI mk1 or 2, or 205 GTI if you want to stick peugeot. Probably as much fun as this supposed 400bhp car, without anything like as much hassle.

so that fixes the overheating issue
and if tuned and maintained correctly, the rest of the issues could be overcome too..

insurance will suck on this, being 18, and male, and in a badly rated postcode

1700 quid i paid for my 1.4 litere 16v automatic, turquoise vauxhall corsa, for a year...
