So we had the 'best' car for a certain price...

...But whats the worst car in your opinion, for about £25,000 or above. Now, most cars over this value 'should' you'd think be good. But what can go here is:

    • You have driven and is awful handling or control
    • Something that is stupidly over-priced for what you get
    • Looks ugly despite the large price-tag
    • Or...you just can't stand for whatever reason

    My 'poor' car...

The Mercedes SLK range. Why do i dislike them? Because they seem to have been around for ages and they are just soooooo boring to look at when you see them go past. To me, its like someone has bought one because they don't have the effort to hunt out a nice sporty car!!

    Audi TT

I actually quite liked these when they first came out. Now there are so many of them around I am utterly sick of the sight of them. I have to say I was pretty unimpressed when i sat in one too.

You are always having to rev the tits off of them, which isn't how everyone wants to drive all the time...

blastfeeeeeeeeemaaaaaaaaaaarrrrrr! 9000 revs just aint enough for some people, how can it be over priced??? 234 bhp from a N/A 2litre engine, no other 2l engine can produce that much bhp, i think your confusing waste of money with work of genius

    Mercedes SLK230
Looks ulgy, is basically a hairdressers car with a compressor. Not good imo in any way.

    Porsche Boxster
Much faster and better handeling coupes for less money, plus they don't make you look like a yuppie

    Chrysler Crossfire
Totally ugly, plus it is rubbish imo compared to the 350Z, S2000, TT et al (Except for the SLK)

    VW Phaeton
I'd rather have a BMW/Mercedes/Jaguar/Lexus over one of these anydays, just looks like a big Passat with huge engines. Plus they charge you more for the 4 seater version than the 5 seater version?!

Plus they only ever get bought because the owner can't afford a 911, and no matter how much they try and justify the purchase it always goes back to the cost

'nother Porsche for me.... the Cayenne.. gawd knows what the designers were thinking. Ok, it's be fair enough if it could actually go off road, like it sort of looks like it might just possibly be able to, but it's a rubbish, overpriced, pretentious piece of turd.... They woulda been better off slappin that 4x4 system they got in there (is it even 4x4??) in a proper road-going chassis and have a V8 powered monster rather than putting it on stilts and making ANOTHER pansy "soft-roader" we hates it preciousssss... we hatess it....

The Cayenne.. about as off road as it gets afore breaking itself

    'orrible thing..

That is an absolute monstrosity, Tumble.

I cannot for the life of me understand the thought process behind that car.

    Awful.

Porsche marketing HQ to Porsche Engineers: "Can you make us a huuuuge, ugly, lump of crap that we can sell to yuppies with a size inferiority complex at a hugely inflated price?"

    Porsche Engineers: "If we must".

But why make it SO ugly? Surely someone in the final design meeting said 'Hang on - this car looks like crap' !?!

    Surely !?!!
