Question Car Insurance for the Moon!

Some interesting news I just read saying that if you add up the average mileage of the UK motorist, combined, would be to the moon and back, again and again, each year!

Apparently we drive on average nearly 5% more than we did in 2000 - despite everyone telling us to hop on our bikes (I cycle a lot). Just makes you think doesn't it.

I think you may need to read it again. It didn't say anything of the sort.

The figure is in fact far further than NASA’s official distance, which states that the moon is on average 238,857 miles away from the Earth.

I thought the UK average was 12-15,000 miles.

Well I've bucked the trend since 2000 I've cut my mileage from 16k a year to around 12k.
