Given the OP's requirements, an M-Sport is a bit overkill.
    That's true. Sorry about that.

Andehh - forget the M-Sports as the ride will be quite hard with an already harder than average BMW car. I just like the M-Sport version of the E60 (mainly styling).

Oh, and if you go for a E90/E60 - when the tyres are up for replacement bin the runflats - improves the ride no end

Good advice, I'd almost be tempted to make a condition of the sale.

Hmmm, I used to be VERY anti run flats, whilst I still wouldnt touch them on an early E60, the E91 330D I tried not that long ago, felt fine on the run flats.
The only downside being more expensive tyres come replacement time. Each to there own I think, I would probabily still get rid come replacement time, but they certainly arent as bad as they used to be.

Nothing like a 2 door 2.5 litre roadster for long motorway journeys and child transportation.

Re: Car advice, whats it worth?

Large Citreons - terrible depreciation, spending £13k on one .... I'd go for a low CO2 car for road tax and fuel
