my dad had to take someone to court after a white (uninsured) van did a fair bit of damage to his 406. wasn't a happy bunny.
public roads, never drived before, no insurance...
how do you do an emergency stop if a kid runs in the road, emzay?
perhaps if u hadnt admitted u was uninsured, and hadnt admitted u was driving on public roads when not in full control of the car.... then maybe people wont be giving u such a hard time

I agree with Lynni on this one. Don't complain at members for being wary of public safety and the highway code when they are right and probably being concerned for your safety as well!
Chill out people, There's no need to get so heated over this.

I have no sympathy at all over the response this thread has received.
qnd Sadly Uncle Zak must shut it.......
the door slams on a post....
*bang*
Cos frankly.......the following is my advice.
If you are gonna risk other peoples property and safety, do it somewhere other than my forum.
I have spent AGES talking this lot round to the right way of thinking.
And.....we dont agree on allowing people with no previous experience OR insurance.
Until you've been upside down in a car, with a collapsing roof, that YOU caused, you dont know the half of it. Ask Deckard.....I nearly killed him when we were 17.
SO.....as its by by time to this thread.......I'll sign it off
Shame really......could have been a good thread when you mentioned your first driving lesson
We await that one with........interest
Good luck with doing it properly tho....to drive is to know freedom But PLEASE do it well, and properly.
PS Your mate needs his bumps feeling....he'd be in a world of pain for sitting with you and allowing it
