    No U Turn

    Do a U turn where there is a no u turn sign and get £100 fine. Of course they arent trying to make money!

    Or next time mount the kerb, then slap it in reverse causing no end of distress for all the drivers coming up behind you, and say to the copper, "it's ok, i did a 3 point turn not a u turn".

    heh no not been done. Just heard about it recently on the radio.

    Before long there will be a fine for every road offence. Driving less than 2 car lengths, 1mph over the limit on a motorway ... Grief.

    If there's a no u turn sign then there's probably a good reason for it.

    Like it might be a dangerous place to do u turns.

    Just a thought.

    Otherwise they could probably do you for dangerous driving - so in this case I don't think that they are trying to make money
