No worries mate. I know my car isn't the finest but no central locking at all, hell no.. I have limits Il go to

Getting my head unit installed over the weekend. Sony one that I bought for the old car that I never used. Managed to get the dealer to throw in the replacement dash without the 3 big slots in it. At the time, he made the mistake of promising it.. without realising it's a £45 part oops!

This has turned into a LONGGGGGGGG thread .. oh my.

Don't suppose you'll be able to take a photo of the naked dashboard, minus the faceplate when you have it changed would you? I'm interested to see how the three-layer bit works and where the new head unit mounts.

Well, i was looking at getting a Fiesta. Not sure which model is the right one? So many to choose from! Any advice?

Reason for wanting one is that i want a 5 door car, needs to be very economical, good on insurance and TAX and the main reason is that we are expecting our first child in October so i need a more economic car!!

    The new Fiesta looks nice.

    Sure I can

I think I have a photo lying around from when someone else I know did that work. Il find it or il take photos during the install

It looks good when It's done.. as long as it's done right

It's lovely. Try one before discounting it. It's quiet, extremely econimical and nippy. If you have the cash, get an LX or a Zetec. They are more refined with nicer things like alloys and electric windows. The 5 door I tried (Zetec) was awesome
