LOL - would I think of such a devious thing.......after everything Ive been through over the last 9 months or so im happy with the 502 I got offered for silly money a month or so back.......but.....that doesnt stop me thinking about having a smaller car with a more compact and light engine to make a bit of a sleeper, all depends on the outcome of the DVLA with modified cars (of any descritpion) really....
But Ive taken this off topic too much already!!

The Toyata Altezza simply seems to be the Toyata badged version of the IS200:

i'm sure i've seen an altezza around with different rear lights - perhaps its had a non-lexus-style-rear-light cluster put in?

AFAIK the "Lexus lights" are known as Altezzas in America, so that must be where the name came from

Its a strange thing because I don't mind the clear corner lamps too much at all, but its the smaller round ones near the number plate that completely jar with the angular lines of the rest of car. Huge design faux pas IMO. Good to see that they've been removed on the new model.

They're very similar but the Altezza has the VVT four pot rather than the straight six I think.
