The best of the silent 120mm fans

Hi everyone thanks for looking,
im looking to start a new case and mod it and change all the fans to silent (or at least quiet) 120mm fans, all the shops i find fans on dont have the neccesary specifications on to be able to compare cfm and db amongst brands does anyone know who do the best high cfm low noise fans and maybe a few prices.

They aint cheap, but I'm using the LED versions and I'd definetly pay that price for those. Excellent fans. You can only just hear them when you're holding them in your hand. Slowed down or in a case, they're completely silent.

Nexus are really good and heard good things about Sharkoon fans.

Yate Loons off ebay, they are the exact same as Nexus fans. I was the one who introduced them to Hexus.net actually .

The seller I think is as good or even better than Scan!!

Nexus are very quiet. if thats your only concern then go for them. Other fans shift more air though.

+1 vote for the Yate Loon D12SL-12 from silencio on ebay.
Almost identical to the Nexus fans...they run slightly faster at 12V as the Nexus has a resistor to limit it to 1000rpm.
Great guy, tests all fans to make sure they start at at least 5V (IIRC) and very reasonably priced.

Just a word of caution..these fans don't always seem to like being in a horizontal position (like the top vent of my P180).

There's not much of a noticeable difference, but I'm so anal about noise, it's silly.

I'm surprised no one mentioned the Noiseblocker SX1's, 38CFM @ 17dB. I have two of them in my Lian-Li PC-7+II and they're almost silent.
