Not really? Its just like optical illusions, the brain gets confused as to what its looking at hence when you look away everything looks a bit strange. The effect for me after a few hours play is less then 10 seconds at a rough guess when I stop playing the game.

I opened mine up this morning and had a quick go at the training mode and is it just me or is this game actually incredibly tough?!

I don't play any instruments (unless you count humming) and dayum that guitar is hard to play! There's like 5 buttons but I only have four fingers, gah!

Got to admit though, it's one fun game. I was on my own when I tried it this morning but was really getting into it. The sound is awesome too, I turned the 5.1 up and it's just fab being in the middle of it all. Now if only I could string two or three notes together....

(PS2 version) I got on really well on easy mode (only 3 frets) hitting 90%+ notes. On Medium (which only added 1 extra fret) really tripped me up.

Hard and expert is where it is at, take me out and I love rock and roll are do able on the first game! Guitar hero 2 is a lot harder then the first game is in difficultly which is a bit wierd. It hardly has any songs I like either... As for the price of the game and the download packs I'll be giving it a miss, its a rip, I could buy a ps2 and guitar hero for less I reckon!

easy (3 frets) and medium (4 frets) aren't too bad because I have enough fingers.

Ive completed it on medium, hard and expert look mentally tough though will have to practice

if you only play on easy you cant access certain 'encore' tracks, including Sweet Child of Mine

Freebird is a mental track even on medium.

I tend to get 99-100% on Easy, 98-99% on Medium and I've only done Surrender and Message in a Bottle on Hard. Surrender I get 99% because I've practised a lot, Message in a Bottle varies but is in the 90s.

I have played GH2 for a few hours - easy is ok medium as everone says gets a little bit harder although the only hard song on medium is freebird took me a few attempts to beat that one.

The co op mode is great fun - played it for a couple of hours last weekend with the Mrs however the game is a lot harder to play with a joypad - Shall try it over the next week or so on hard and see how I get on although I gave up last time I tried

Anyone know anywhere selling the guitars on there own - could do with an extra one for the co op modes on the game

Co Op is where it's at for me on GH2, as the first version of GH was way better for music and single player stuff.

I just can't get my head around the tracks on GH2 as being anywhere near as good a collection as GH 1

I mean...GH1 is like the perfect ALBUM of some of the best music anywhere...ever!

I'm really starting to get into GHII now, getting used to the tracks and can do most of them really well on easy.

Totally getting addicted to the game too, it quite literally rocks!

Very tough game, finished it on medium. Just need to get three more songs on 5 star. No chance with Free Bird, that's just ridiculous.

I wish they had some more well known songs though. Still, one of my favourite games ever.

Groups could release their albums on Guitar Hero II to buy, how cool would that be!

Bit miffed that you can only play bass on co-op. No way am I buying another guitar.

    This game rocks so much!!!!

I'm getting the hang of it now and when you start to string songs together it's such a buzz. My sister and brother in law were round today and they totally loved it. My sister is hooked and didn't want to stop playing, she's totally awesome at it too. She even managed to nail a song on medium. She played one day and is better than me already!

My favourite song so far, Woman. WOMAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This game is so so good!

I've just finished medium on all 5 stars. Got 5 stars on Free Bird first time too, which I'm pretty chuffed about. I've just started Hard, got two songs on 5 stars so far.
