Got it Saturday, haven't stopped playing it. I was planning to get it online, but HMV had it instore for the same price as Play. (actually 4p cheaper) It's ridiculously addictive, don't think, just buy!

I plan on getting it once my 360 is fixed, it is a superb game on the PS2 and looks even better on the 360!

Hmmm, my brother has guitar hero 2 on PS2 with two controllers and the original. I still personally think the first game had better songs to play along to. I'd like to potentially get the game for 360 but only if I can get the songs from the first one Here's hoping there is a guitar hero megapack for £10 or a similar price point!

I myself am a PS2 GH player but by all reports from the 360 players it's just as good as the PS2 version and in some opinions better.

The graphics are reworked tho that really is no big deal unless you are spectating because when you are playing you won't have time to look at them.

5.1 sound is a bonus too.

Plus you get 10 more songs than us by default plus a load more on down loadable content including the songs from the first one.

As a GH player myself I would say go for it and buy it but cancel any plans you have for a while as it is highly addictive.

We have both games 2 original controllers for the PS2 and both me and my wife can sit for hours none stop playing it

I ordered the game a while back but it didn't make it here in time for the bank holiday weekend. Should be with me tomorrow!

I would love to have it on the 360, but I've got the PS2 version of GH1 and 2 and 2 controllers, plus the 360 version is £70 (!!!!!) so it's not really justifiable.

But damn you guys you get the trooper *cries*

it's great fun - but on HDTV, it melts your eyes!! After I finish a song, and look away from the screen, things move away in the distance - like some crazy film effect!

thats nothing to do with HDTV it just an optical illusion caused by looking at a fixed point while something scrolls by.

I get it on a standard TV too it also happens if I go fishing and stare at my float on rippling water for a while everything appears to move when i look away.

Is it me or is the X360 controller feel so much smaller and cheap/nasty to the PS2 one though?

depends the explorer controlers are smaller than the PS2 SG controlers

but the explorer controler on both platforms is the same size so if you compare explorer to explorer they are the same but compared to and SG yes it's smaller
