you should be able to, but I think it'll be locked to your gamertag (ie if you've got a sibling/partner with their own tag they won't be able to access it) and I think you also need to be connected to Live in order to use the content you've re-downloaded (). any new content d/l should be open to all tags on your system.

As I understand it, all of the content that you download is linked to both your gamertag and you current console. Therefore, you should be able to use your content on a new console so long as you use the correct gamertag.

Thanks peeps. I may well loose my save games rather than get a memory card, unless someone can lend me one. I could redownload all of my arcade games etc over the weekend then.

I think if you are purchasing a 120Gb HDD, you still get the transfer thingy.

I got a 120gb hdd for the US, but the transfer disc is region protected!

Shame that it's region protected though, that's a real bugger, it might be the transfer cable is one use only, you might be able to use the disk again for someone elses PAL version.

I dont watch films on it, i have a DVD player for that. Games and games only.

Not worth it. There is no point shelling out on an elite if you already own a 360.

you dont really need 120gb of storage and the HDMI port dont make much of a differnce and if ou want your console plack you can easily change the faceplates
