Xbox 360 Elite UK

I noticed earlier today that Fudzilla has an article saying that the UK is due the Xbox 360 Elite in about a week http://www.fudzilla.com/index.php?op...=1784&Itemid=1

Just wondered if anyone has noticed any preorders yet for it? I know some sites have 'coming soon' like Play.com etc.

Daily tech say it will arrive in japan on October 11th. There was no word on a UK release date in their article which was published today.

I'm not too sure that it will be hugely popular anyway. The 120gb hard drive is probably the most useful addition but you can buy them separately anyway.

and the magic exchange rate means it will cost more than £120 here i guess. maybe quite a bit more...

so since every black elite comes with a 120 gigger, will the accessory HDD's be grey?

There was a price drop in the core and premium ones recently so maybe it's a sign that it could be here soon. I'm going to keep my eye on the sites that have it listed for any changes.

The accessory one is the same grey as the premium 20gb drive.

When the elite first became offical it was schedueled for a UK release in November, nothing ever arrives on time so probobly for christmas!

I honestly cant see the point of the elite in Europe. The HDMI port is a pointless addition. The 120gb hdd while useful in the US where the marketplace is overflowing with content, here in Europe we have virtually nothing, none of the movies, tv shows ect that they get over there. Ive had my 360 for about 4 months and ive downloaded loads of demos and videos, put a crap load of music on it and it still inst full. Unless you want every demo on marketplace on your 360 at once then its a waste of time and money.

true, was just thinking wouldnt it be easier for them to fix the problem rather than repair machines that have gone faulty
