If so - which one? I have had no luck getting my 360 or my mates 360 elite running on my cheapo Dell 19" TFT
Slowly coming to the conclusion that I am going to have to buy a new TFT

my mate up until 3 weeks ago ran his through his monitor, 22" LG worked perfect
my LG 194WT or whatever its called does work and looks quite good. Only problem is that i have my PC via DVI and the 360 via VGA but it doesnt seem to like swapping between the two as it always forces itself to DVI meaning i have to unplug the DVI cable from the back of the monitor each time. :/
Mate has an Acer 19" running his 360, no problems as far as I know...
Though I use the HDMI on my 24" Hyundai panel it works fine for the 360.
Oh also, 19" widescreen res of 1440x900 is not supported by the 360 natively.

No need to get the official cable I don't think, buy the £9.99 Joytech cable from play.com and you'll be fine, and have saved £10 in the process!
My daughter has the Joytech cable and has had no problems with it
Right I think I am getting somewhere with this now. AS the HExGuru suspects - I think it is the cable rather than the TFT.
The cable I am using is the MS Xbox 360 High-definition AV Component Cable (Component (Y,Pr,Pb)) but I am using the Component > VGA adaptor that came with my mates Sharp LCD TV. I think maybe the adaptor is designed to work with his TV only, as I borrowed a 20" widescreen TFT from work - and using this cable I can run it at 480p and 720p BUT the colours are all screwed up, it is like greenscreen.
So I have ordered a MS Xbox 360 VGA Cable (Xbox360 to 15pin VGA PC Monitor) from scan for £17 odd so hopefully when that get's here I can do some more testing with these two TFT's.
Cheers all!!! Didnt expect 12 replies when i logged in!!

Most likely, as iirc, Sharp TVs lack VGA now, so the Component channel accepts a wider range of resolutions to enable VGA like functionality. How it does it may be different to the way MS does, however.
I havent had a problem with mine, and I've used it exclusively since getting my xbox 360 in early 2007. I've not heard of any problems with VGA cables, I guess people aren't plugging them in correctly and getting wierd colours or something, managed to do that myself
Interested enough to google it now, dammit I'm meant to be going to sleep!!!
