Possible fifa 09 problem??!!??

I was lucky enough to get my copy early today (its all legit, my box is unmodded) put the game in, it updated, had a few games, brilliant, but during a game i was signed out of xbl and when i tried to sign back in my console froze, nothign works other than switchign it off with the button, restarted it all was fine until i signed back into xbl, froze on the dashboard, its now done this at least four times and now as far as im concerned my xbox is duff, its just as soon as xbl signs in thats it, disc in or out of drive, maybe my box is on the way out who knows but be warned when getting fifa incase the update has caused some kind of problem!!!!

I've got my copy here but my console is at the girlfriends so I can't test it until tomorrow anyway.

I'll try it tomorrow before I go out to see the best breaks DJ's known to man and see if it kills my 360 as well

right, ironically the problem was apparently the pes09 demo, ive just been trolling around google and other users are having the same trouble while downloading it. strange!! maybe fifa detects your downloading it and throws a hissy

i fixed the issue by disconnecting the wireless adaptor, going into the memory mangement and deleting the half downloaded demo. hope noone else has this problem!

anyways where was i, ah yes, fifa

LOL - well PES goes no where near my console so I'll be safe then.

Maybe its not a glitch but a feature so that you don't play a poor comparison

LOL its not true, apparently its a bug with fifa that whenever u do a background download it messes up fifa09

SO, the exact same thing happened to me when I got Fifa yesterday (released october 2nd. in Scandinavia)

I were also downloading PES 09 while I was trying fifa for the first time, - getting the fifa update while i was downloading PES demo, - I tried deleting the PES 09 demo just like you did.

Only it didn't help me, - my system is still ****ed! :/ :/ Ruined. Anyone knows what to do?

Okay so I discovered it myself now.

I made the mistake only deleting the half downloaded demo of PES, which resulted in my system downloading it again, since it was still on the list of pending downloads, - although it wasn't pending at all? :S

So I just cancelled the download and then deleted the demo, And now I believe my system works again.


Clearly somethings messed up with the PES 09 demo, - also my download of it stayed pending and didn't begin downloading at all, and look at the name of the demo: Name> something.

So that demo is clearly the bad boy.

at first i thought it was related to fifa, now i know its just the pro evo demo, because it was crashing my dashboard aswell, unless its somehow conflicting with my fifa save file perhaps?

i found people talking about it on that silly yahoo answers thing, i'll try source it again

I have a problem regarding my joypad as when i enter the menu to set the contols there are some options that remain empty such as the through ball...any ine has encounterd it or is it just my joypad? however even my friends joypad had the same trouble...i dont know why and it is very annoying...
