See I think it's bad it got in in the first place, but with a large market in the middle east buying sony I can see how they would want to remove this, not to mention religions folks all over the world

    You sure?

Play and game seem to be releasing it on the 5th:

    http://www.play.com/Games/PlayStatio...t/Product.html
    http://www.game.co.uk/PS3/Action/Adv...20big%20planet

Is it likely to be in retail shops on the 3rd? Maybe play and game were just guesstimating the date?

    Re: Little Big Delay !!!

Should get it 28th or 29th Oct via movietyme - only £31.99

Most games i have pre-ordered recently normally arrive day after release date in states. May be different after all the fuss made etc, but hey what's a few days when been waiting ages for this.

Honestly I doubt in the Sony's own minds they see it as much of a problem but in the worlds current state of affairs why risk it?

Would only take one person to find it to kick off another media storm (see Mass Effect, Resistance, GTA4 etc.)

    Re: Little Big Delay !!!

I just bought a PS3 solely for Metal Gear 4, but I figure I'll pick this up when it arrives...the delay is absurd, but I'm not really fussed. I wonder if this will effect those little 'I was there on week 1' tshirts that they had set up to give to early customers, if they forgot to update the closing date on them they may be lost forever

I'm hoping that when i play through the single player i'll get ideas for creating a level cus at the moment all i want create is an Escape from New york level with my Snake Plissken sackboy.

Play have had this showing as 'in stock' for the last 48hrs, so I'm guessing a lot of people will finally get their copy!

    Re: Little Big Delay !!!

Got mine today from MovieTyme. It's a very calming game, and Stephen Fry was chosen well for his role. I haven't been able to connect online with it yet though. Maybe the servers are all packed?

    EDIT:
Looks like the server are having a few problems. Should be fixed soon though.

    Re: Little Big Delay !!!

This is one reason why it's not a psn download

    http://www.ps3fanboy.com/2008/09/10/...ce-up-to-40gb/

Really enjoying it at the moment, slowly going through the tutorials/single player collecting lots and lots of stickers/objects/materials. I was playing a two player game online with my mate (didnt realise you can slap em about) and i got the bunny nose and whiskers sticker and plastered him with stickers, in the end he was a ball of fur/whiskers and noses running around trying to help with the puzzles.
My son has spent an hour with the garden template creating me a level to get through, sniggering whilst he layed crocodile traps for me, and it's pretty good for a 6 year old.

Lots of fun for all of us.

    Re: Little Big Delay !!!

I've been trying to think of a really good original idea for a level all day.

I was going to create some sort of jigsaw puzzle, and have the finishing point come down on a platform when it's complete, but I don't know how to tell it that the jigsaw is complete. Probably not easy to make a jigsaw in the 3 planes available anyway...

You all HAVE to check out this level though. They've completely changed the genre of the game from a platformer to a side scrolling shooter. Search for "libidius.jp" to find the level. Just goes to show what you can actually do with the tools available .

    Re: Little Big Delay !!!

Completed this at the weekend - very enjoyable, but Christ it's short 0_0 I mean, I know the whole point is that it's a creation tool, but I'd expect the story mode to be at least 3 times the length that it is. I hope the online community will create more levels to the standard of the story mode ones, or I don't think the game has enough going for it

Have you got 100% items and all of the stickers in the levels yet? How short is short? I have't played it that much yet, but it's been fun so far with a mix of playing it on my own and with a mate. We've done a few levels that require 2 people to get certain items, are there more later on requiring 3+ players?
