JayZ was supposed to be on the main stage last year, but pulled out at the last minute, iirc..

Not too bothered about that, really... although wouldn't have minded the "boast points" to smear allover my rap-obsessed friends. West, west, y'all, etc.

i'm sooo excited now! missed the Darkness last yr so gonna make sure i see em this time, the offspring were amazin last time i saw em there, and Green Day..well..possibly the best band ever IMHO.
50 Cent will be a nice break from the rock i recon, time to chill and get a blunt on
if anyone else is planning on goin, PM me nearer the time to meet for a beer etc..

The lineup looks one of the best lineups that have been announced so far. But saying that it doesn't seem that impressive compared to previous years. I reckon I will probably still go to Leeds and T in the Park looks quite good as well, haven't been there yet so may go for a change

Offspring; Libertines; Green Day and possibly the White Stripes, can't see much else to get excited about, but that's just me

How The Darkness have come on eh? Just last June, they were the opening act on the main stage at Glastonbury and I couldn't even be arsed to wander over to see them.

how can you call that hardcore?! its generic emo-crap with a bit of screaming! you wanna get some Sick of it All, Dead Kennedies, Leftover Crack etc... now thats proper hardcore.
still, you should come over for a beer etc.. there Areku.
    peace.

lol, i dont class LP as hardcore, no way. I meant that we need some more as in we need more bands which are hardcore to be joining the line-up, sorry for the confusion there

However the beer offer sounds good to me

In my opinion this is the worst line up I have ever seen. I sort of don't mind one of the bands (The Hives) and thats about it....Download here I come (starts to dust off my Slayer T-Shirt from donnington 199?)
