    Head set recomendation

Hey guy I was wondering if I could get some advice.

I'm looking for a gaming headset with a mic and their are that many out there I'm a bit confused as to what ones are good or not, I'd like something that is around £30ish but if it is worth the extra I'll spend up to £60, Id like an nice comfortable over ear style headset with a mic.

    Thanks in advance

    Re: Head set recomendation

Thanks for the reply PiMan314 I did have a look at those threads before but people were suggesting separate mic's with headphones which just isn't an option for me, out of all the head sets that fit my budget and needs from all those threads I only got 3 possibilities and was wondering if their was any more options. the ones that fitted my needs were these ones.

Try these, I find them much more comfortable than over the head types

    Re: Head set recomendation

Thanks for the suggestion GAteKeeper, however I have tried that type of headset before and I found those to be one of the most uncomfortable type of headset for me, I have tried all types of fitments for headsets and the over ear configuration is the most comfortable for me.

    Re: Head set recomendation

Zak33 Those do look very nice, are they really worth the extra money? if so guess I'll spend a bit longer saving for them unless their is something else just as good for less

    Re: Head set recomendation

the thing with headphones is... if you buy them right, and don't kill the cable by pulling on it.. they last a VERY long time if you buy right.

Graphics cards.. cpu's.... motherboards... all come and go.,

and you STILL have your favourite headphones

My first pair of Sennheisers were second hand when I bought them and that was 10 years ago.

the second pair (gaming ones, called PC360's) I've had over a year and they are awesome.,... they will last a decade too.

    Re: Head set recomendation

I see, well I always do my best to look after what ever I own and my current headphones I have had for a good few years now are still going strong, Just a shame my needs have changed and I need a headset with a mic attached, otherwise I'd carry on with my current headphones

    Re: Head set recomendation

In the same search as you atm.

From advice and lots or research I am going to go with the plantronics gamecom 780 7.1 headset. They seem like awesome price/quality.

Was a toss up between them and a more expensive set of cm storm true 5.1 headset (can't quite remember the exact name) google around.
