Its godzilla
I've seen episodes 1-3, brilliant so far, looking forward to next weeks.
Oh but it was.Originally Posted by Stoo
Season 2 starts towards the end of September in the States, looking forward to that.
Just watch out for the ties between the people. For Example, Hurley appears frequently on the TV during the flashback scenes.
No, it wasn't, as you don't find out exactly what it is in season 1, and none of the plot information from s2 tells you either.Originally Posted by Tarffie

It's quite entertaining in a "Chewing gum for the mind" kinda way...
That said, there were big chunks that were <really> implausible.
Like the fact that a plane can break up at 30,000 feet and:
A) 40 people survive
B) None are seriously injured unless the injury is necessary for plot purposes (no broken limbs???)
C) They land within about a half-mile radius of each other.
Did anyone else find this a little odd?
its a thriller, as such you need to suspend the part of your brain that says "why is that frat girl going swimming nude on the pound which 5 years ago to the day 12 virgins commited suicide on the pound which was built on a native mexican berial ground".
But its more than just a simple thriller, its a collection of short stories, done in a suprisingly good way for a US drama series. This is a thriller, that focuses on characters, making it rather unique, as the characters mature and develope as the viewer gets given more information. With a ludicrusly implawsable plot, suspense moments, love intrest, friendship stories, and sacfrefice, Lost is probably the best series on TV at the moment.

its basically a modern rip of 'Lord Of The Flys', very little of the story line has been changed, and its easily reconisable to anybody thats ever read the book.
The story is good, its a reused classic, so they cant go too wrong.
Some of the actors are just terribly wooden, and the series is ubject to alot of critism for a lack of realism (note that no ugly people survived the crash ).
But over all it's well worth a watch, and is fairly addictive......im just happy they got rid of big brother for a chnage.
Ive seen all of season 1. Its developing brilliantly to be honest. Cant wait for season 2.

What about the fat guy, he's ugly. Anyway its common policy by airlines to sit attractive people in the most safe part of the plain. Really ugly people have to go into the hold.

Only problem I have with the series is that a plane breaks up at 20,000 feet yet miraculously 40-something people survive, & the ones that do survive are in perfect shape! Unlikely-much!
Fine, I've seen "the monster", I have a better idea as to what it actually is and I also know what it isn't.Originally Posted by Stoo
