Jaguar has around the same multi-threaded IPC as PD,and improved single core IPC.
It seems the top desktop model runs at 2.05GHZ:

GameGPU have now added the Core i3 4330 to their new articles:
http://gamegpu.ru/images/remote/http...-wl_2_proz.jpg
http://gamegpu.ru/images/remote/http...ot_proze_3.jpg
Wasteland 2 uses 3 threads heavily.
Even WoT,the FX6350 should be around the same as the FX8350 and costs the same as a Core i3 4330,and that game uses 2 threads.
But the Athlons were sold in over 3GHz models plus these are not PD cores so the issue width is much better than the dual issue of a Jaguar. Lower issue and lower clock with the same number of cores, that requires some serious magic or very selective choice of benchmarks.
Or the slide is made up, which has been known, albeit not for at least a couple of days
Edit to add: OK, that second link of yours explains it. Compare Athlon X2 *with 760g graphics*. No contest.
The CB scores are relatively high on Jaguar.
I just saw this review:

Performance is actually slight version than the A4 1200!
1.46GHZ BT based Celeron dual core against 1GHZ Jaguar based dual core.
Yeah it's one of *those* games - you're helping someone spec a PC and they say something like 'oh it only needs to run Minecraft/GTA 4'...
Kaveri is listed on Amazon USA:

AFAIK my stepson ran Minecraft pretty well on an Athlon X2 3800+ (2GHz) with a 7900GTO. OTOH ISTR that you can pile many many mods on minecraft, which presumably has a significant impact on the minimum hardware needed to run it. I suspect Kabini/Temash will have a better time of it thanks to their improved GPU (128 GCN cores v 80 VLIW5 cores on E350), although the CPU may still be a little lightweight (AFAIK Jaguar has similar IPC to PD, so at 1GHz - 1.5GHz it might still be behind a 2GHz Athlon X2 in raw CPU grunt...)
Well AMD chips are selling quite well in China:http://www.digitimes.com/news/a20131218PD214.html
And Glo-Flow will make a small cut to it's workforce:http://www.digitimes.com/news/a20131219PD211.html
Some more Kaveri pictures:

I am getting the gist from forums that the 28NM bulk process AMD might be a bit of a fail. However, one could argue the warning signs were there with the lower than expected clockspeeds for Kaveri(if you look at earlier AMD estimations of the amount of GFLOPs it was meant to have). Lets hope, that at least power consumption has dropped.
Edit!!
I saw this on SA forums:

It seems the 2014/2015 AMD server APU,aka,"Toronto" will integrate the FCH and will be compatible with DDR4(look at around the 8 minute mark). It seems Excavator will happen and it is DDR3/DDR4 compatible too. It looks like PD will still live on in the older server sockets.

It seems the A8 6500T and A10 6700T are finally available:

Edit!!
Here is a review of the A10 6700T:
http://translate.google.com/translat...2Findex-2.html
Looking at the CB scores the A10 6700T seems to be running at between 2.8GHZ and 3.2GHZ it seems. IGP performance is very similar to the A10 6800K.

They're Richland, not Kaveri.
I cannot be certain as I am dealing with rumours ATM. However, the main issue seems to be clockspeeds, like with Llano.
OTH,GCN is far better than VLIW4 for general purpose compute,so there should be much bigger speedups in that area IMHO.
Edit!!
The CPUs I linked to are Richland chips as watercooled indicated.
