whether he is up to anything naughty like warez is frankly non of your business, everyone understands that discussing warez, where to get them and the like is off limits but there's a massive step from that (which is simply protectng the site) and moving towards a position whereby youse actively take punitive action against those you suspect or who can't/won't prove their legit ownership of software. There is no legal reason why mods need to throw their weight round on this issue, unless of course the boards are so far up the arse of the games companies that youse have new protocol to be renta(copyright) cops.
There is also no reason why the board has to even ban people from saying they've used warez, got warez or are aware of warez, all youse have to worry about is people linking to warez.

alright, it's over with. The guy said he had a bad day. They have to protect the forum, and if you talk about anything shady it just spurs on "wink wink - nudge nudge" type stuff which eventually turns the forum into a warez forum.

I have my reservations about demanding evidence to be honest. But I suppose it's fairly irrelevant to me - I must be the only one who's gonna get this game in a bargain game 18-24 months from now when my PC will/might be able to cope with the game in all it's glory @ 1900x1200. I do that with most demanding games - it's the most efficient way to be legit without paying over the odds in software and hardware all the time. While you guys enjoy Crysis, I think I'll eagerly wait for the release of Guitar Heroes 3

I'm awaiting a patch... The game has some bad mouse/keyboard lag which makes it hard to play, even on "low" settings with MY system...
