Just installed it this evening. It's annoying that you have to setup a Games for Windows profile (I already have a steam account and a Windows live! logon, what more do they want!)
But the game seems fun, gave it a quick go as the arachnids and had no idea what I was doing
Anyone else have it report a crash when you leave a multiplayer game?
Really looking forward to this game. Been a fan of the Relic games since the start.
Hope there support is a little better than with CoH, which at time was just embarassing
When is DoW II set to come out? Is it this year or next?
I can't believe they'd be in a position to release a public open beta and still need more than a year to work on the game, so I'd say it's going to be this year.
Isn't it coming out next month? Around the 20th, possibly earlier in the US.

There was an awful lot of speculation flying around about it last time I checked. Dates were varying from January 2009 to March 2010... As you said, with a public beta out I guess that they're nearly finished and so I'll have a new RTS to kick ass on

Soulstorm was such a let down
the open multiplayer beta starts on 28th or 27th of Jan so looking good for a Feb 20th release.

Yes, it's just a shame it's £35 on steam! I'd much prefer to buy it through there.

I never liked the first one.. Is it pretty much the same..
I didnt like the way the camera was always focused too closely. *shrugs*
