Does it really matter who has the biggest market share? Just be glad we have a choice in platforms. Lets get back on topic. GT5, if Sony have half a brain, will not be released on anything other than their own hardware. Be that PSP or PS3 (or 4 the way things are going ) But in this industry never say never, after all we did see Wipeout on the Saturn.
going to have to palm you off now joshy boy. you obviously weren't there when GT came out for the Asian and yank territory before us here, but for those of us who were around for that know the magic that happened when it was released. i would have spent an innumerable amount of monies on it if needs be. you cant put a price tag on that kind of game. and yet you can very easy.
you always come across as a follower of the ps3 so why would you be so negative about something so pivotal as this?

eh? negative about what? This coming out on the pc? hell no im happy that it is as more people get to play the game. my argument is against people such as yourself who think a pc release of this game will harm ps3 sales.
im going to ask this question again. HOW COME COD4 PC didn't harm console sales? still waiting on a proper answer to that
i really don't understand your post at all though. cheers maddy
A PC release of GT5 will harm PS3 sales. Most gamers will have the hardware to play it straight away. You keep saying that people will not have the power to run it, i say rubbish, most people will have the power to run it. It may not be up to your exacting standards in graphics terms, but it will be playable.
People will pay £300 for a PS3 to play certain games, two of which will be hitting market this year (hopefully) Recent sales of PS3 in Japan are showing that people will fork out for a demo, have a look at the sales figures over the last two weeks since the FFXIII demo came out. If i didn't already have a PS3 i would be buying one on release day of GT5, i did exactly the same when GT3 was released. I even imported GT5 Prologue and a DS3 from Japan just to play before the UK release.
COD4 didn't lose any sales, it probably got more than expected due to being multi format, but being multi brings different aspects. People will buy based on what their friends have bought it on. i got it for 360, but have never played it, just to be with my friends. Normally it would have been on PC.
But all this GT5 on PC is bollocks until Sony & Polyphony make an announcement. They haven't yet. So the subject is mute.

I bought my PS3 to play games like Grand Tourismo, FIFA Street, Street Fighter IV, etc. If they are available on PC, i won't bother with PS3 version.
Look forward to the PC version of GT5 and ST4.
some news. if true then awsome.
http://www.gtplanet.net/weather-chan...ran-turismo-5/Well it looks like car damage is all but confirmed.
A head honcho at PD recently said they're almost to the point of being able to simultate damage on race cars. So that sounds like a good compromise with getting the game this decade, I cannot comprehend how long it would take to do full damage on all 600+ cars.
That should appeal to the arcade scrub/burnout types who need carnage. Rain will be included too. I think it's all been in the works, but they kept a tight lid and abandoned Prologue. Can't wait to see the E3 presentation.
The deluxe version of this game with free dlc will be like GT5 and GT6 combined. Although the stock game is supposed to have almost 100 tracks !

I can not waittttt! We'll buy the damn PS3 if need be when this game drops.
Yay for the Top Gear track! The we can all claim to be a Stig.
I'll never fork out for a PS3 because it doesn't have the kind of games I enjoy.
RTS, TBS, FPS and some RPG.
FPS? wtf? it has ALOT of FPS games unless all you like is halo?
