Well you can holster your weapon to run a bit faster.

As for loadout, I've kept the Winterised Power Armour from Operation Anchorage, and rely on a combat shotgun for up close heat shots plus it's easy to find spares and ammo for, a rifle and a tesla coil (droid/turret killer!). Apart from the telsa coil, that's pretty much been my staple for the majority of the game.
My only concern is should I hide my true identity? A costume maybe?

I reload if ever Clover dies. But Star Paladin and Jericho are dead even though I have never had them as a companion.

In Broken Steel I was able to bring Clover with me. Is this the only DLC you can bring companions with you?

Right, i need something to do on Fallout 3.

    I've done the main quest.
    I've found everywhere (that's mapped)
    I've done every DLC

Is there anything left for me to do?

I'm the same as moonpig, think I'll give it a rest now until Fallout Vegas.

The DLC started with a a bit of a damp squib, peaked to a rather impressive Broken Steel and then ending with a hugely disappointing Mothership Zeta.

Yea, pity really. The original Fallout 3 had soooooo much potential.

You should be able to surpass lvl. 30 without console commands aswell. Saying that, it's just 'advlevel' (i think). I did it on my other account and im level 87, every perk. lol.

I'd play missions someone else created, but not my own. I don't see where the adventure is when you know all the where, what and why, etc.

I'll keep an eye out on places like Fallout 3 Nexus though - hopefully someone will flesh the world out more and make good use of the G.E.C.K.

I will carry on after Zeta. There is so much to find out in the wasteland. Many little things.

    Ok, I got three

A contract one for the Saloon
One to make Nova your bitch.. lol.
One to add afew 'bosses' around the map.

I've done the first of the contract one, easy. I've done the Nova one (you can dress her). I havn't done anthing to do with the bosses yet.

    So far so good, recommended.

    Re: Fallout 3 Mothership Zeta

    Oh Joy.

I start up Games For Windows Live this morning. First thing it asks you to log in.
Only today It decides it wants to update. So it does.

And it restarts with a new shiny interface. Oooohhh. So I log in and...

IT DOES NOT WORK. IT JUST STOPS RESPONDING <groan>

Oh great, thanks Microsoft. That is great. Go on then, leave me no choice but update from my fully fuctional interface into something that hangs. Just great, love it.

I can log in offline to play Fallout 3. Just not online.

Actually, I just love the way the nice grey theme complements Vista's Not Responding tab. I find it refreshing from the useless and ugly bits they had before like Market Place and my Gamertag.

Those lovely people at MS sat on their toad stools saying "And for those of you who actually have GFWL working with no problems, have version 3.0 wether you like it or not.

    Re: Fallout 3 Mothership Zeta

Doesn't the Steam release still use GFWL just like GTA IV and Dawn of War II?

    Re: Fallout 3 Mothership Zeta

I thought this was a bit of a let down tbh.

I really enjoyed Operation Anchorage and Point Lookout, The Pitt less so but it was still entertaining. MZ was just boring and repetitve with no real improved weaponry or loot. The Epoxy is useful though.

I found MZ too short and a bit easy, it is also very linear.
