No. Fallout 3 main quest will bring the game to an end on completion. Game over. Broken Steel allows you to carry on exploring after the end and will raise the level cap to 30. But even without DLC you will hit 20 easy and have lots to explore. So XP will go to waste and you will not have the sweet loot from DLC to explore with. Besides, Point Lookout and MZ are for high level characters. Will want to be near level 30 on those or you will find it very hard.
Yea, i did Point Lookout at level 25 (im totally skilled though ) and Mothership Zeta at level 28.
Zeta would of been really hard under 25... lol. (Especially since i forgot to get my loot back!)
I kinda wish there was more to explore up north... And Old Olney was disappointing.. that should of been alot better.
Haha... thanks... i guess. Well, im male so it can't be offensive
Get all of the DLC and enjoy a day session
I know Beth are saying MZ was the last DLC.
But if you look at the DLC add packs in the shops, You have Add on pack 1. That has Pitt and O:A.
On the 28th of this month Add on Pack 2 is due out. That has BS and PL on it.
So what about MZ? Surley they will not release that in the shops alone?
Also, at the end of Mothership Zeta:
Sally is still on the bridge. When you talk to her, one option you have is "Anything to report?" At the moment she will occassionally just give you ammo of something. But that would leave the door open for her to start a new DLC. And give Fallout 3 a real epic ending.
Also when you beam down to the lower level of the ship Aliens are re-spawning.
I know, it probably will not happen. But that would be really great.
Still, for all you people buying the retail version of the DLCs, it seem a downer that they MAY just have MZ on the GOTY edition.
OK tonight reinstalled Fallout 3 - My last save is lvl 13 and i'm near the end of the book quest - just been to the robot factory........................
Looked on steam for d/l and nothing there - looked at Beth's site nothing their - where can you d/l ??
I guess this means you are playing it on PC. You need to download and install the latest Games For Window Live. You will need to set up a gamer tag. If you have a 360 you can use the same gamer tag.
When you first start Fallout 3 you will need to sign into Live on or offline for the DLC to load.
Also, you will find that in your Fallout 3 save folder that Live has added a new folder under your Gamertag name. You need to copy your old game saves into this new folder.
I am not sure how the retail DLC packs work. Maybe they do not require Live.

I restarted MZ and finished it for a second time.
This time around I accepted help from the other captives instead of going solo. So for a few areas of the ship you have a companion.
This game crashed about 4 times through the DLC
Still, I came out with nice rare weapons.
This is still my favorite DLC of the 5.
Rare weapons?
I only got the:
Alien Atomizer
Alien Disintegrator
Atomic Pulverizer
Drone Cannon
Paulson's Revolver
Samurai's Sword
Shock Baton
Am i missing anything good?
After completing DLC it is good to visit Fallout 3 wiki to see what you missed. I got everything apart from the samuri's armour or anything that would require me to kill the captives on my side.
Although my karma is set to the Devil so I know that is odd.
FALLOUT WIKI/MZ
Working through it again, just got into the living quarters.
I hate how many hits the 'armored' aliens take. The ones with like a glow round them.
Also, got all the special weapons etc.
Still not finding it as fun as other DLCs... I've stop playing twice because of boredom... lol
My Double-Barrel Shotgun does a good amount of damage. The Metal Blaster does aswell.
Gunna have a bash after dinner.
Right, completed it again. This time i liked it more, but i still think the Living Quarters section is horribly boring...
Also, i killed all my companions, so now i have their stuff (I look cool in the Samurai kit)
