Now that I have a new CPU, LCD monitor and Graphics card, I'm replaying GTA4

I first played GTA4 on a X2 3600, 8600gts and 1024X768 CRT monitor now I see what I was missing out on graphically

To bad about the gameplay and lack of variety in missions

Playing Planescape Torment at the moment. It was a pain in the back side to get running, but it is so worth it. Possibly one of the best games I've played, I think.

How is the beta? I was going to sign up for it but was unsure as I've heard that's it's basically a WoW clone with better graphics?

So far the game is really good, calling it a WoW clone would not be accurate though, it does have a lot of features like WoW but the game is still very much unique in its own way.

The graphics is pretty amazing compared to WoW as you pointed, The Beta only stared yesterday so I can only tell you about a tiny aspect of the game. So far from level 1-11 it is pretty fun, the quests have more meaning than WoW since it's part of the storyline.

Leveling time seems to be quick too, but again this is only for the first few levels.

I would actually recommend Aion to anyone who is tired of WoW, it's a very nice change.

An addition to my game playing at the mo' is Little Big Planet..great fun esepcially when there's a few players jumping around the levels.

Last night I played Half Life 2 Episode 1 for a couple of hours. I got stuck on a bit with a sniper and gave up after half an hour on the same bit. I hate when a seemingly simple task in a game becomes near impossible because of minor problems. I was trying to sprint across the street but Gordon kept either not sprinting or I kept running into a small obstacle, like a dead sand lion, and just stopped. The sniper kills you with one shot, so you don't have much chance.

For me its Teamfortress 2 and Arkham Asylum gonna be a long wait for Diablo 3

Altho MW2 is out soon which i should beable to play on my new system ( when i build it )

Grabbed some of the fallout DLC over the weekend to keep me entertained while my EVE sub was fubar. Enjoyed Mothership Zeta and Anchorage, didn't really get point lookout think I must have missed a huge chunk because it seemed real short. Playing through The Pitt atm liking it so far. Auto axe ftw.
