'PC owners get the most versatile and rewarding experience in this regard'; 'occasional pathfinding quirks are more apparent in the console versions'; 'The PC interface is brilliant, letting you browse through your inventory and tweak your quickbars quickly and easily'; 'On the flip side, the Xbox 360 version looks positively disappointing'.
Looks like the PC is the version to go for.

I was always going to go for the pc version, plus if I'm in the mood I'll hook the pc up to my 1080p sony projector and turn on the surround sound.
An 8/10 from Eurogamer.
http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/dr...origins-reviewIn its desperation to infuse this setting with "maturity" - be it of the sober, political kind, or the game's painfully clumsy gore and sex - BioWare has forgotten the key ingredient of any fantasy: the fantastical. Without it, you're still left with a competent, often compelling, impressively detailed and immense RPG, but it's one that casts no spell.

On first glance I agree, but then reading it more closely it sounds like he thought it was a good game, just one that could have been that much better if they'd innovated or not been held back by the usual bioware engine limitations. Very good review IMHO as it's reminded me to set my expectations to those within Bioware games.
Looking forward to this one..not sure about the pre-release adverts but looks like a goodie.
So many games, so little time. Have to pick this up later this year i think
Preloading this right now... decided to go digitial deluxe. Extra school of magic and a nice party headquarters with storage. I think its pretty big because its been going a few hours and I've only got 51% down (4mb connection).

Preloaded the digital deluxe versio, can't wait, should be epic from what I've seen. Loving having a fast connection, preloaded quickly via steam.
Cant wait for this, the last rpg I played (beside Fallout 3) was Storms of Zehir, what a pile of
Storm of Zehir was awesome.
