For those stuck on the last bit of the level - after finishing the game, I discovered a far easier way of doing the last bit.

After tooling up with ammo/armour/etc. get a chair or something moveable and stick it in the automatically closing door - then you can just crouch under and load up again whenever you want.

Not really the way the developers wanted you to do that bit, but not exactly cheating either...
Now go away before I taunt you a second time.

    Clever thinking Rythmic...

I like it how games are finally getting to the stage where you can do logical things like that and they work well.

That last level is a nightmare! Gonna have a go doing it Rythmic's way a bit later.

I was a bit dissapointed with the last bit with Doyle, he could of at least put up a fight.

Gonna have to wait till an expansion pack is released now...

    or Far Cry 2.

Just made it to the archive with the Trigens that have the cloaking device, bloody hell its hard. Mind you putting the night vision on allows you to see them immediately thankfully even if they are cloaked (Pretty good tip that one !!).

Damned good game this, gradually working my way through it and thoroughly enjoying it. Game is bigger (Single Player game) than most the other FPS games out there, I clocked Unreal 2 in around 6 hours tops. Put way more than that into this already and not sure how much more I have to do to finally reach the end.

Unreal2 was imo a great but overly short game. In this game I hit Rebellion, & thought I must be near the end, but oh no, only half way. Took some playing to get thro on Veteran level, but a most rewarding game indeed!

Yeah just playing through Archive level on veteran and was having great trouble with the big store room full of containers just after the outside bridge/pipe across the bay. I was trying to go through slowly killing as many as possible which was proving v difficult untill I realised that if you run and shoot down a hanging container and get into a floor vent you can get through with out shooting anyone.

LOL i must have had 12 tries at that trying to kill everyone. Grrrrrr

Unreal2 was probably one of the worst games I've ever played - I had to suffer through all that sh1te just to prove to myself that maybe it might get better but no ... I find it hard to understand after the amazing, truely stunning and ground-breaking original, they could get it so wrong ! :/

I drove the forklift down, when the big doors opened I drove it over so the forks kept it open, ran back to the chaingun & mowed em all down as they came out
