Whats everyone playing at the min?

I always get my rear kicked when playing TOEE. Do the tutorial no issues then the game starts and gather a few quests in the village, complete a few village quests like the card shark one etc

Then I venture out to the spiders at the top of the map and thats it dead, 1 spider can kill my entire party. If I get lucky and kill both spiders I then rest to get health etc back and constantly get attacked while resting till my entire party is dead.

I have tried a few times to get into this game but I just cant seem to get my head round it. Most annoying thing is that I do understand the combat on it and placing characters etc but its the constant missing blows and arrow shots from point blank range that gets me every time. Tried it again last week but to no success at all so uninstalled it again to be left for another however long till I decide I will try again!

Finally grabbed the 3DS last night with Zelda, Resident Evil: Revelations and Star Fox 64 for it so currently chugging through Star Fox 64 before I play Res Evil with the Circle Pad Pro.

My sentiment exactly, move character right next to an enemy, swing weapon and it should connect for half decent damage. Or in the case of TOEE, swing weapon blindly and miss proverbial barn door as the spiders are as big as your characters. I can understand the odd few arrows missing but warrior type classes in close range shouldnt miss.

I know its based on one of the D&D rulesets but its a bit silly and takes the fun out of a game when things like that happen.

I do really want to enjoy this game as I love the BG and IWD series of games, I cant just seem to click with it though.

I have currently gone back to some Company of Heroes action, and have got right back into it, been playing through the campaigns again.

Just bought all the DLC (Well, the decent ones) for Mass Effect 2 as I thought I would prep myself again before ME3 turns up, and just completed Overlord. Very good actually, better than I thought. Forgotten how good ME2 was... To the next one!

EDIT: Kasumi done too. Shorter but half decent and worth a play. Onto the shadow broker then...

I just started playing Bordelands after being spurred on to complete the game following the news of Borderlands 2.

I'm still playing X3 Terran Conflict. I posted this fact when the thread started. I'd been playing it for years then. I wish I could find a different game, in a different genre, that I enjoyed as much.

Freelancer!

A friend set up a server for a few of us to play on, we are using the discovery mod and just messing about a bit. Brings back memories, used to be in a Freelancer clan when I was at Uni.

Aside from this I took advantage of the steam deal on deus ex at the weekend and picked up Missing Link and the the weapons pack.

I was playing Borderlands in February but played past a few stages and took a break from that.

I have a massive backlog of games so I have recently been playing through those.

Recently I completed:
Crysis, Crysis Warhead and Crysis 2 - If you haven't done all three in succession I would recommend it, it's an amazing experience, I really got a lot out of it.
CoD4 Modern Warfare - Campaign, I got the game free on Steam when I pre-ordered CoD MW3 and never tried the Campaign, glad I played it, it was a lot of fun.
Half Life 2: Episode 1 - This was OK, but I found it to be too slow at the start which is why I stopped playing it before.

Now I'm playing:
CoD MW3 - Just started working on the Survival modes, playing through with a friend and aiming at completing all of the maps to level 20 just to get that achievement, which is kind of sad but we're having fun trying to do it.
Half Life 2: Episode 2 - I have just started this, should have it completed by the end of next week (playing about 4 or 5 hours a week at the moment)

Still to play - I have over 30 games still outstanding now but I am looking at getting through:
Assassin's Creed Revelations, Batman Arkham Asylum, Batman Arkham City, Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell Conviction, Borderlands and Hitman Blood Money as soon as I can.

Pretty much exclusively been play Day Z. I wasn't too sure of the hype this has generated but I can honestly say its sucked me into its world. Playing with a large group of friends on and off and it has to be one of my favourite gaming experiences so far.

It's rare that I find a game where it takes ages to build up to a decent level and decent kit and not be too annoyed when someone snipes at you in a field meaning you have to start again. I always do start again.
