No its at stock speed and always was. I have had alot of problems setting up my new pc but it does seem to be working ok now. my only problem is that it will not update to the latest Nforce 3 drivers using MSi live update, it downloads them and begins extraction but then it just dissapears from the screen. The bios update worked fine though.

They don't have any reputation lol. Their benchmark is very linear, just people like using it because its the most commercial one there is.

Damn I will give it a go and hope it works. The entire windows installation was a pain as I have a SATA drive and the mobo instructions were pretty useless as far as sata was concerned. I really dont think the mobo drivers are installed correctly, as it will not update to the new ones.

you didnt need to insatll any sata drivers during installation.hte sata controller is native to the chipset, so no pressing f6 required.its only when you got 2 satas in raid that you need to. also make sure the drive is connected via sata port 3.

sata ports 1&2 do not allow overclocking much as there buses are not locked.

so re-install XP but dont press f6 during it.hte sata drive will be seen.

Well I never pressed F6 to install it mate as I have a slipstreamed version of win xp with service pack 2. I also have my sata drive in port 3 as I had already read the info about overclocking. So now I need to know if Ihave not installed the mobo drivers correctly, when should I have installed them?

the mobo drivers go in after xp has finished. however mate just to point out that SP2 is causing great problems on A64 my setup included with random freezes and other BSODs. Do a repair using XP with SP1 or XP and then install SP1, forget SP2 period!

yes it might well be.a repair of your XP installation by booting from the CD using the sp1a inc will get rid of sp2 files.
