Takes at least 30mins before you can unlock IIRC.

Just got my promo but haven't got the new badge, but I do have the right points.

I take it that PKM is the best weapon to get at first promo?

I'm best as USMC spec ops and heard the sniper rifle upgrade was poor.

    Reccomendations on which to get?

Get whichever you play most. Or install the demo and unlock all the weapons then play around see what suits you best. I always play support, except for the odd excursion as an engineer to fix arty, so thats why i chose the pkm.

I like sniper (i just like hiding and shooting at their heads) problem is the lack of major zoom, you can only zoom once! WTF and the one on one weapons are very poor.

    American Sniper is awful tho.

I don't understand the upgrades yet, i will have to look into that.

If it is not the time to be sniper, i go medic, and i can have an ok gun plus heal the people! lol

To get the upgrade what is PKM? and what do you have to be to get it?

I will have a bash to get as many upgrades as possible! (when i am back home)

PKM is the unlockable light machine gun. Fantastic stopping power, and it groups similar to the assault rifles assuming you keep your bursts short, or its fantastic for surpressing fire if you open up a full clip.

THe medic gun is very accurate, if somewhat underpowered, and the unlockable sniper rifle is mental. 1 shot kills on the unarmoured classes and 2 on the armoured ones.

FIrst unlock is at 1000 points, second at 10000. If you want to see what theyre like in single player the following works for the demo only:linky
