Nintendo Revolution Anyone?

this is where nintendo plays it clever though, they don't spout lies or show fake game footage to get hype, they show it when its ready then you see exactly what it can do good move on Nintendo's part though.

From what I've seen, the average console gamer is a 28 year old retarded business major who is obsessed with Madden games and lame console shooters. They believe the hype and love the footage they see--fake or real. Nintendo needs to learn how to play the game. Nintendo should not let a thing like class or ethics interfere with its business.

You're right. I don't know how Nintendo is going to compete with the following specs:

PS3:
Processor: 3x300e15 GHz cores
Memory: 512GB with 345793875935793 GB/s bandwidth
Flux Capacitor

I mean, the Revolution is ONLY going to be 3 times as powerful as the GC. I heard the XBOX can detect hunger and make me a turkey sandwich and a cup of tea.

Power of the console is the absolutle last thing I consider. Revolution may be the first new console I buy since the Super Nintendo Entertainment System. It's going to be less expensive than the other systems and the backwards compatability could be good.

You mean like the xbox 360 and ps3 that will have lights and a changable face plate, considering both were found to be cheating at E3 both showing rolling fmv and not actual game footage, I would wait till all three hit the market, see what comes out, wait a year for the price drops and then buy a console. For now the PS2 and the Gamecube do me fine, Res 4 is just to addictive to not play.

YEH RE4 OWNS its so good even though it isn't res evil as we know it.
oh and IMHO the Revolution looks the NICEST especially the slot load with bl00 glow

I would like to see PD0 (Perfect Dark Zero) on Revolution.

Rare and Nintendo are no longer seeing each other, Rare left in the middle of the night and is now in bed with Microsoft.

ok, so looking at this image of the revolution, is the silver bottom bit a stand and the back end sinks into it? 'cos otherwise, if it's always sloping......WHERE THE HELL TO I DUMP ALL THE GAME CASES I'M CURRENTLY USING?!

So then why develop new consoles? As good as games get, they can get better with more power. Power doesn't always mean better graphics, it means more possibilities, such as more on-screen realtime NPC's.


Unless this is one big cover up by Nintendo, and they have some kind of amazing VR console or something, this is the death of their play in the big boys league of the consoles. They might just stick to support of the handheld devices, but hell even their turf in that aspect is getting invaded, lol

Xbox360 FTW! And probably PS3 once that eventually comes out
