yep its very handy for reviving teammates who died as medics, pick their kit up, revive them and they come back with your kit

pkm.. it reaaly is a greatn support weapon.. in bursts ist high damage kicks as.. i would have gone for the g36 but maybe you don't play much spec ops?

PKM is bloomin superb. Rips infantry to shreds. None of this burst crap, full auto when prone and zoomed and nothing lives. Down damaged choppers. Shoot buggies and humvees to bits. Stonking bit of kit, just remember to go prone and never move and fire...

2nded, although moving and firing is possible as a suppresion technique, youll never get a kill with it though. Rapid 3/5 shot bursts keep the accuracy manageable and mean you can unload a whole clip without overheating (half the armour of an attack chopper, chinese one anyway)

G36 is definately the weapon I'd go for

played RvS since beta, stopped playing just before Athena Sword

oh and L85A1, it may be one of the worst assault rifles on earth but its good in games for some reason

L85A2 is a great improvement in real life over the A1.

When have you used one?
When we made the switch, I found some bits worse. It's more reliable, but I prefer some bits of the A1, eg. the cocking handle.
Anyway, unlock it, it's an ace rifle!

The teardrop cocking handle is dreadful and I found that I still got just as many stoppages as with the A1, gawd bless my Scimitar

I've picked up the pkm once, very good on maps like mashtuur city, stuck on a roof and firing over your team mates heads as they move down streets, or try and make sure they know to only move down sides of streets if possible so you can direct support fire pretty blindly down center to keep any enemys heads down.

Aye, its great on infantry maps like Mastuur and Karkland.

Not so good on the open maps - well, you're not going to score as much unless you find an antiarmour dude to resupply all the time.

I love crows today trying to figure out what SLR stands for. The G36C(ommando) is an exceptional modern assault rifle. H&K will always have a place by my side

I've noticed this too - can be well worth your while picking up discarded kits on the ranked servers to see if you can "try out" the unlockable weapons. I cba to play on the ranked servers much myself and generally stick to my clans server to get proper teamwork and a generally better game, so nicking other peoples kits on ranked servers is much the best way to try the extra weapons.

Speaking of unlocked weapons ... are we able to run servers where players (all players) have access to the unlockable weapons? Would be nice to have a passworded server to try them out on. Seeing as we bought the game why should we be forced to play on public servers to experience all of the games assets?
