What weapon should I unlock? (BF2)

Simple question.
Being a shameless sniper junkie meant that my first weapon unlock was the wonderful M95, but I'm not particularly bothered about anything else. The Jackhammer looks awesome but doesn't seem to do anything special that the iraqi shotgun can't. I play support a lot, but the PKM didn't blow me away when I picked it up.
I couldn't give a crap for any of the others either, so I want you guys to vote and explain why I should pick which weapon.

Hmmm... I was considering the G3 as it was one of the 3 guns (along with the Styr AUG and UMP) I couldn't stop using in Raven Shield.

G36 is definately the weapon I'd go for

G3 ain't worth losing the nade launcher TBH, but it's nice to have the option of thrown nades i suppose. It only has a 20 round clip as well. L85A1 is good, not really better, but different. Scope is nice, makes a good sniper rifle on semi.

Next I'm going for the DAO-12 - it's so much of an improvement over the SMGs it's unbelieveable. I wish i'd chosen it instead of the G3.

PKM is really nice, almost twice the damage of the US/Chines support guns and it's more accurate as well. About half the ROF though.

Jackhammer isn't much over the other shotty's. Sure, it's full auto, but the recoil is silly and the reload is quite long.

I'd say unlock the weapon for the class you play most. If not, DAO-12 or L85A1 TBH.

It's starting to look that way now

I think it's really between the DAO-12, G3 and PKM at this point.

DAO-12

gives the anti-armour class some teeth, especially USMC as the MP5 is terrible.

Yup, the AT shotty. It owns at close range. The SMGs are crap at long range too so you're not loosing out - pistols are very accurate at long range.

aye i love killing people and picking it up. Jackhammer is good too but tbh DAO-12 is better as its a HUGE improvement over the SMG's whereas the jackhammer is only a bit better than the shotty's.

Aye, I regret not choosing it for my corporal unlock (chose g3 instead). Sergeant is ~10,000 away, and I'll deffo be geting it then.

Press G to pick up their packs, which remain around after they're dead...

When you see a pack on teh floor the symbol tells you the type, flag the army.

RUn over and tap G.

I use it to switch between medic/sniper/spec ops a lot
