Next gen consoles vs pc

a lot of the stuff coming out for the xbox 360 is looking like decent pc game stuff, which isnt really good enough tbh.

things will deffinately improve as they get more out of the system. but it wont be long before pc hardware is alraedy significantly better.

but once again that brings us back to the point of.... £££££££££

I think Sony have had the gyro in mind for the PS3 all along, especially after they lost the rights to the DualShock technology, and the controller shown in E3 was clearly labelled "concept design" meaning they are working on somethign there.

I really would not at all be surprised if the PS3's controller has a built in motion sensor, it must have been on the drawing board long before Nintendo announced their plans

even the original ps1 pad was almost pin-compatible with the SNES pad - though, to be fair, nintendo & sony co-developed the first ps1 prototypes

Exactly, Sony/MS wait for the big N to come up with some innovations, then shamelessly ruin the idea, copy it and use their mass chav appeal to market and sell it to half the developed world..

I do play most of my games on PC but ps3 will be worth it if they remake FF7 remake.. nuff said tbh

I cant get enough of the story line play it for 2 minutes on a saturday mornin and end up at the end of the 1st disc and pretty much addicted again ^ ^ will watch that when i get home later

Im not buying a new console but they deffo have the advantage when it comes to waste an hour type gameplay.

Its also a social machine. You can have it on while having a party. Ud never find people huddling around a PC.

If you've got the money buy both. If you like playing games with ur mates buy a console, if not get a PC...simple.

end of the day buy the console you want to buy... as said above if you got the cash get all 3 of the next gens.

360 is out 2nd Dec which is way before the others which means if you do go for the PS3 instead you have to wait. Ill be getting a 360 & Revolution.

I saw an interesting interview with the four owners of Id software on g4tv last night. They had some pretty interesting things to say about gaming. Carmack is firmly behind the XBOX 360 because the SDK is leaps and bounds better than the PS3's. I think he mentioned something about while the PS3 might be a little more powerful, when the documentation and developer support for the XBOX 360 is that much better, it's a no brainer.

It was a pretty good interview. I didn't think they granted interviews. I've seen one in my entire life with JC.
