Well I got a 360 the other day and played the demo, the text is a little difficult to read but I'd hardly call it unreadable. It's a bit small so it goes a bit fuzzy, if you sit closeish to the screen you can make it out (TBH with my eyesight it wouldn't make a difference if the text was perfectly clear, sitting on my sofa I wouldn't bea able to make it out as the text is so damn small.

Can you play it on a 21" monitor? CRT nice and cheap and you get more for your money in weight too

Theres a VGA cable for the 360, you might need an adapter or two if your monitor doesn't have a female VGA port on it though.

I'm planning on attaching my 360 to my monitor for some HD goodness and then getting a phono to headphone jack converter so I can plug the audio cables into the line in of my PC sound card.

saints row is really unplayable in the demo (because the framerate is shocking), poor X360 doesn't have the power... perhaps or it could just be the demo :S..

I had no framerate problems, might be because I'm using SD right now but I've not heard anything about framerate issues.

Shame if it's true as I was going to buy a 360 just for that game. Personally I don't think it can be true, it would be very stupid on a developer. Developing a game only playable by a few people who can afford HDTV's.

I thought the MS VGA cable came with the Phono (RCA-->3.5 headphone jack) & VGA gender changer couplers? I know mine did

It's (SR) not that bad. I reckon it was a case of the demo coded badly and that's why they have warnings on most the demo's that this does not reflect the final product

Looks spanking on my 50" HD plasma

Got to be annoying for SDTV owners, I thought SDTV made up the majority of 360 owners as well?

Having played this on a SDTV, I could read the text no problem what soever. This was on an OLD tv at my amtes house as well. Played it no problem, with all the text easily readable.

The text is smaller but it's hardly the big issue that some sites are making out.
