Question Best Way to spend £200?

Got my bonus from work & using a small portion for me & my fiance to treat ourselves.

Basically I'm wondering what to get for £200. My PC is fairly decent (ie I see no need to upgrade yet from a 2.7Ghz CPU & a 7900GTO!) so I'm not spending the money there

I was looking at perhaps a really cheap lappy to tinker with, also seen some lovely airsoft rifles (ie the Dragunov) for £100, nowhere to shoot them but I love them things & money left over!

    Brainstorm away!!!

hmmm..tempted but think I'd have a sugar rush that would last about 7years so no thanks.
To clarify we are both getting the same amount each, had some people think it was between us & how will a lappy benefit her?!

Well, if airsoft appeals then spend the money to get yourself along to a site. The average site tends to charge about £20 for the day's "green fee", and most sites offer rental guns for a further £15-20 or so.

The nearest sites to you are either Section 8 (between Edinburgh and Glasgow) or The Fort (near Kirkcaldy). Section 8 have a strong presence on the airsoft forum I run so if you think it takes your fancy then stop by their section (www.airsofters.co.uk , or the S8 section directly at http://forums.airsofters.co.uk/forumdisplay.php?f=88 ). The owners of the Fort don't frequent the forum but I've skirmished there, they're thoroughly decent guys - very welcoming.

If you get on with it then you should have enough change to just about afford a rifle*, some eye protection and a set of DPMs.

Anyway, that's what I'd suggest - but then I'm an airsofter

*For the past few months there've been models entering the market from China that are essentially direct clones of Japanese designed models. They cost about half as much as the Japanese models but reputedly perform identically. It used to be a case of you had to spend £200-£250+ for a decent rifle, now suddenly there are viable options at £140 and below - which is good if you're starting out!

We already have 2 weekends away booked so thats not really something we'd do. Felt we needed a treat as we've worked our arses off recently with this & that, busy year so far!

Charity donations(s) aready made so this is surplus to that sort of thing

Miller85 - you mean the LPHPs from airsoftscotland I assume! ;-) already been tempted by the G36 or dragunov. Used to have a P90 & a g-spec but never had the chance to skirmish even though I knew about the fort being there

Digi camera is prob an idea as I'd already thought about that for baby pics! any suggestions for say a max of £150?
