Snake Pass is / was great, but it's now a 50 limit ALL the way, meaning you get stuck behind people driving 40 mph when it's totally uncalled for!!! some great views though

It's a bloody dangerous road, especially in winter. We've had to turn back a couple of times.

if you live in yorkshire then you have so many options - when God made Yorkshire he was having a good day - the moors and Dales are awesome, there is a reason top gear go there so often

In bad weather, yes the Snake Pass in dangerous, in good weather, driving at 40mph is a crime!

We went over the Snake Pass when it was "closed" because of snow - yet it only had a road closed sign at one end - traffic was allowed to come from the other way!?!
