    How have you changed?

I've been looking back at all my old threads (lucky there's not too many!) and decided that i have changed (on here) A LOT. That is, I used to be really immature, and make loadsa meaningless spam, whereas now i try to make my posts count.

One thread of mine that i really liked though, was this: A Thoughtful Poem

    How about everyone else?

I must have been quiet on the forums for a while... this is my earliest mention back in 2003 (after the Hack anyway)
I was in the Flat in Macclesfield working for LloydsTSB (check out the retail site atm, there is still some of my XSLT coding on there!)
I was still at Uni then, and I'm a very professional hard working growed up with a mortgage now.

(ok, only the Mortgage thing is true)

I believe I had recently broken up with the ex-fiancé at the time too... How times change and how good it is to be young, free and single!

/Edit: I also believe Agent is still confused as hell by me... as he's my best mate now! Weird huh!

Guess i posted a lot more in the Hardware forum than i do now. Some interesting threads right back just after the hack such as my looking for a new car thread.

However the changes to Hexus in the same time has been more impressive than how i've personally changed.

Can't say i've changed at all, my posts are always well thought out, considerate of peoples viewpoints and feelings, structured correctly and spellchecked personally using an Oxford English Dictionary. I actually write my posts out 3-4 times on paper using a caligraphy pen and copperplate writing before committing them to the web where they are immortalised in code. Each copy is then stored in an ornate leather binder with gold inlay entitled *Hexus Thoughts and Ramblings* which my butler then stores in an airtight wallsafe for future generations to enjoy in the case of a complete global network breakdown from which we never recover.

and i'm never ever sarcastic at all.

I'm not as quick to get angry anymore, that's for sure, also not as quick to sterotype, and a staunch defender of Americans, after all we can't judge them all on what we see on TV.....

Well - I've changed name and the way I write things on here to show to people whether I'm taking the michael or not with the (ab)use of smilies

Hopefully my writing style has changed a little as well, but that's progression I suppose

I would too Lee, but its so hard to transpose the appropriate smilies to paper and even then, have them understood by the future generations who will exist in a internet wasteland /nod

I've not been here long but I'm hairier than when I started.

I worked in IT when I started, now I'm a lazy student that doesn't get up till after 12, and then lounges around for the rest of the day. Only time I get up is for food or beer.

I worked in IT when I first signed up, worked as a security guard for a while, and now I live in a tropical paradise and fly airplanes. Life's been good...

My posts tend to reflect my stress level at any given time... 2005 wasn't a good year...
