Well I'm a meat eater and I hardly ever eat Mars bars or related products. I wonder if the percentage of Veggie Mars eaters is (or was now) different to the percentage of Veggies in total...
1.21 GIGAWATTS!!!!!
I hate when people refer to the old standpoint of Humans having sharp teeth to eat meat.
That may be so, but this argument completely ignores the fact that humans have developed socially much much faster than we have developed physically.
It WAS once okay to eat meat as we were on equal terms with animals. This is no longer the case and we have other, less exploitative options which are healthier and cruelty-free.

Was once okay?
Please.
What gives you the right to decide what is, and what isnt right for others to eat?
Just because you dont agree with it, doesnt make it wrong.
If anyone wants to be a veggie, that's up to them. I don't tell them its wrong - no more than they should tell me eating meat is.
Its personal preference.
Duh. He is a vegetarian, didn't you read his post?
Don't you realise that with the genocide in Darfur, the growing nuclear stand off with Iran, the appalling casualties and looming civil war in Iraq, the war in Afghanistan, and the millions starving around the world, what REALLY matters is scum like you and me eating sausages.
It’s simple really, when you see it from the veggie point of view. And as he rightly says - it *WAS* ok to eat meat, but that was then, this is now. He made a choice on behalf of the 6.5 billion people on the Earth.
Was nice of him. You could at least say thanks, you ungrateful, cow murdering fiend.
I'm gonna phone PETA up to come and burn your house down.
Not at all suited to eating raw meat? I've had steak tartare before and had little trouble chewing it (much to the disgust of those I was having dinner with). I probably couldn't chew through elephant skin (I doubt it would stand still long enough) but on the same note I doubt I could bite into a coconut... Doesn't mean I can't eat it though!
lol tell the person who wrote the wiki article not me
And Stewart, maybe people are dieing in Darfur and Iraq etc, but as I've said before on here, it depends what you value most. I know very few if anyone will agree with me, but I value an animals life above a humans life, therefore to me it's worse for someone to eat meat than it is to murder a human.
But that's just my opinion on the matter, however wrong it is.
*edit* OK maybe it's not worse to eat meat than murder a human, since you're not killing the animal, but still, you get my point
Mate, you can't say you value the life of a chicken over that of a human, and then make a brown sauce quip.
This forum is getting kerazy.
