As Man U fan, I think RVP is going to be the next big thing. I feel he's got the technical skill and aggression of Rooney but in a much neater package. I think it won't be long before he becomes 20 goal a season man.

I actually think RVP will never be the 20 goal a season man, although he's a very good player. I just don't think he's strong enough to be lurking in the box for tap ins, which is what you need for a true goascorer IMO

I think there are various ways a player can reach 20 goals in a season without just being a 'tap in' man. Take Henry for example.

Are you forgetting that we don't need strikers, we can put goals in from where ever, from defence to strikers, just look at this season gone

Aye, but when it mattered (fa cup final) We really needed someone who could pop up and and toe-poke a goal in from 3 yards out. We had no-one to do that. The only person we could bring on was smith, who is rubbish

well.....henry has been gone for months and Wenger has only just signed a contract, so yes, I'd say the uncertainty over his managers future would potentially be a big player in his decision making process.

Remember Arsenal are THE ONLY team in the Premier League to EVER score 100 goals in a season.
We did that 3 years on the trot. Of which Henry scrapped around 30 each season.

RVP is definitely a 20 goal a season player along with Eduardo De Silva being at least as many.
