Currently going through a Whiskey phase at the moment. Straight shots go down too quickly so I'm still trying to find a good mixer for it though. Didn't like it with Coke and Red Bull does counter-act the sleepiness of it but doesn't taste great. Someone suggested ginger ale, so might give that a go.

Can't stand beer and don't react too well to cider either. Done a wine phase (mainly when it was special offer) and a vodka phase as well. Alcopops are usually what I end up drinking when I'm out. Cocktails can go down very well, but are generally quite expensive though.

Favourite poison in terms of enjoyment - Red Wine,

Whiskey in the evening, Red Wine with a meal, but when you're out with friends, it's got to be purple!

Whiskey forever I dont mind what type like Malt, Scotch & Bourbon so on bourbon is my fave. I drink it sometimes neat with ice or with coke.

Ethanol diluted with lemonade till palatable...I not longer drink

BTW if you try this at home I recommend at least a 1/3 lemonade to 2/3 Ethanol never drink it 'neat' - and I'm defiantly not talking about methanol never try that at home.

I'm also inside the whiskey camp, and I enjoy just about every variety whether it's single malt, cheap blended with a mixer or bourbon. Personal favourite though is Laphroaig, which is well worth the price premium per bottle.
