Well I got caught speeding on the A14 on the 01/07/2006 by a mobile speed camera, within a few days I had a letter to say that I had been caught but it wasnt a fixed fine and 3 points, just a letter saying I had been caught, and then I didnt hear anything for ages. Around January 2007 I had a letter saying that I had to go to court because of being caught speeding, I didnt go but sent off the letter saying that I was guilty. The hearing was on the 06/02/2007 and I phoned the court the following day to see what had happened, I ended up with 4 points, £60 fine and £30 court costs.
This was all ok.
Then today I just happened to check my driving licence and it has the date of conviction wrong, it says
Date Of Conviction : 06/02/2007, Date Of Offence 01/07/2007,
So I was convicted nearly 5 months before the offence
Any ideas on what to do?
