Even if she finds this thread, I'm sure she will laugh
i missed the big announcement, drat. (toasting you with a nice cup of hot sweet tea...) cheers anyway. this has been better than anything on the tv... not that that is hard, now that i've watched back the last ice road truckers, but still. happy endings all round.
that ice truckers thing is CRAZY!!
and yeah, happy endings all round
also got the official fastest growing thread ever
it probably isn't but it grew fast!
be a shame to let that go to waste now that it's resolved..
anyone fancy a chat about why i'm able to pick up someone's phone conversation on my speakers?
from what i heard he was using some form of radio..
was quite funny listening in
Becka thought it was some VERY strange recording on my PC.. but the PC was off..
took me like 5 minutes to explain what speakers do (she's blonde)
I think the person in my amp was speaking with an Indian accent, or somewhere similar. What we need is an electronics specialist who can explain to us about it...
Where's a geek when you need one!?
what speakers do you have btw?
It's a 15 watt, Spider III (model) Line 6 (maker) Guitar/Bass amp.
I know it said there were built in special effects on the box, but I would never have guessed this lol
i don't have better things to do, i know everyones secrets....
as for the original post topic... it all comes down to how you act around women, confidence (i have a lack of, but they don't care, i get a lot of pityness) you definately need to be funny, have something that sets you apart from the rest of blokes around, i.e dont be boring. pets help, puppies or kittens, do NOT say to them, "can i see your puppies/pussy cat?" (without the cat bit..) don't stare at their chest, unless they've had implants, then they want you to stare.. (see cleavage thread).
i'm sure tiggerai and sammy and SIMone have better advice..
as for new post topic.. bits of wire, dry soldering, radio waves reverberating, basic electronics really, the crossover circuit board has various processors on it, one of these must have a reciever unit on them.. maybe the speakers are a common design between the wireless variation and wired ones, just add a transmitter to differentiate.. why design two different units when 1 will do? (that geeky or just bollocks?)
But if it's only supposed to do one job, why make it do both? surely that's a waste of time, effort and maybe parts too?
Good explanation though, perhaps it's geeky bollocks.
I remember picking up some call out thing from a police car once over a set of old pc speakers. Just happened the once though
