I don't wish to alarm anyone but I just realised that Sept 10th when we're all going to die is also THE DAY AFTER TOMORROW!!!
That's it then... Tidal waves, Storms AND Black holes?
I'm going out in the best way possible... Surfing a tidal-wave into a black hole! Best Death Ever.

i'm not scared but really excited because i would really love to know if its parallel time or you go back as who you were. very intriguing and cant wait for it to happen
WE'RE STILL ALIVE!!!
Ok, so I didn't really believe that we'd all die, partly because there are no collisions yet, and partly because I agree with that scientist guy who said that anyone who does believe, is a *cough*twit*cough.
Anyway though, the amount of news reports on it, you'd think they found something major already!
Fraz, how was the powerup for real then? No issues or panic responses to fix an error that cropped up last minute?
Things are going very well apparently. There's more in this thread:

They are making rapid progress with getting the beam circulating well. They've already surpassed all the goals set for today.
Was fun today at school.. someone bet me a tenner that we'd all die.
Thanks for the free money...
I'd send it over to the scientists, but I've got better things to do with my money.. like buy computer games where the world really does end! MWHAHAHA!
Yeah.. they failed to realise.
I didn't find any takers for £100 thouhg. Unforntunately I couldn't find anyone that had that much money lying around.
Such a pity.. I could do with a new monitor.
I guess we're expected to do quite wellOriginally Posted by Fortune117
